Prop 129 – the full story

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Prop 129 is on the ballot for the first time, though city council member Anna Stout tells WesternSlopeNow she and other organizations have been pushing for this for a few years.

Legislation initially shot it down from 2022 to 2024, but a petition of roughly 200,000 signatures got it here on the ballot.

Prop 129 creates a Veterinary Professional Associate position, which would require a master’s level degree.
